Fun and treats as sausage dogs take centre stage
Hundreds of adorable sausage dogs will have the chance to meet up in Bath next month.
The dachshund party will take place on Sunday, April 10, in the city centre, and offer free puppuccinos, treats, ball pits, tunnels and toys to all furry attendees. It will also be a chance for owners to swap tips on keeping their doxies happy.
Pup Up Cafe runs sausage dog meet-ups nationwide but this is only their second visit to Bath. Last time, over 150 doggies turned up, and the party will be even bigger and better this year.
The event will take place at Revolution Bath, starting at 10am and ending at 5.30pm. Doggies and their owners will be allocated a “session” to attend, with up to 50 furry friends per group.
Tickets cost £12 for “regular humans” and £9 for dog owners while the dachshunds go free. The ticket includes: Unlimited dog treats; Ball pits, tunnels, toys and many other fun props; Local doggy related trade stands; Prizes - given at random for the best-dressed dog in each session;
Photographers taking photos and videos;
Unlimited free puppuccinos for doggies.
Even though the sausages go free, you still need to book them a ticket so the organisers know how many to expect. They should also be taken for a short walk before the event, to reduce the likelihood of any “accidents” inside.
There will be blankets provided for any doggies sensitive to the cold, but the venue is expected to be at average room temperature. If your dog is in season, aggressive, nervous in crowds, or not up-todate with their vaccinations, then this is not the party for them.
