Still much industry goes on in our city

Long term residents of Bath will have seen over the years the demise of many manufacturing companies such as Stothert and Pitt, Bath Cabinet Makers, Clarkes Shoes and others.

If you think Bath no longer makes anything anymore, a visit to The Museum of Bath at Work will show this is far from the case.

Their exhibition called “All day long” devoted to the present day, shows what an astonishing number of various industries still take place in this city.
