Cleansing teams face tough task

Replying to the letter from P Ross.

The cleansing team try their hardest to keep up with all the litter etc. People leaving their bin bags out too soon thus allowing seagulls to rip them apart takes an awful long time to clear away.

They are not allowed to use weedkiller so the weeds have to be dug out manually.

There are not enough cleansing operatives to deal with the amount of rubbish, so much as they try they are fighting a losing battle.
