CAZ survey waste of taxpayers’ money

While working from home, I was phoned by a survey company asking about the Bath Clean Air Zone.

The key question that I was asked merely concerned how happy I am with the policy.

Obviously one could be unhappy with the policy because one wants a much stricter CAZ policy or one could be unhappy because one wants a softer policy or does not want a CAZ at all.

I was surprised to be asked such an ambiguous question and explicitly queried whether the person asking me had got it correct.

Is BANES paying for this survey? If so, they are wasting ratepayers’ money, since it will be impossible to interpret the results. Or worse still, the results could be deliberately mis-represented.
