Event a chance to forge new links with China

-

Local exporting businesses have a unique opportunity to build links with China at a networking event in September.

The China Bureau, a regional organisation that helps build partnerships with Chinese firms is hosting its first ever event in Bath and Wiltshire on Thursday, September 1.

It is the first post-covid face-toface networking event held by the Bristol and West of England China Bureau and businesses are invited to join the reception at The Studio, Bath Spa University in Yard Mews.

“The theme for the evening will be creativity in tech,” said Yang Ding, the China Bureau representative for Bath, pictured. “It is a great opportunity for businesses in the area with a passion for technology or a link to China to meet with likeminded people.”

“The China Bureau started in 1998 and has grown to be the strongest network across the region supporting businesses and education organisations and also promotes a shared understanding of Chinese culture,” said Mr Ding, who also runs the New Silk Route digital marketing agency based in Midsomer Norton.

“Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire businesses in the technology sector will particularly benefit from attending this event.”

Tickets are free but should be obtained in advance from Eventbrite and can be found on the website www.chinabureau.co. uk
