Cherokee charges on

The fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee is now ready to order with cars arriving in showrooms early next year.

Jeep’s new range topper is a totally new motor, available as a plug-in hybrid for the first time. There are several versions and two different four-wheel drive systems (named Quadra-trac II and Quadra-drive II) as well as air suspension and anti-roll bar disconnect. Expect the Grand Cherokee to be formidable off-road. Prices start at £69,900 for the Limited 4xe entry level version.
