‘Members’ club’-inspired venue opens
Coppa Club, an all-day restaurant and “members’ club without the fees”, has opened its doors in Bath.
The chain has taken up residence in the former Gap store on Old Bond Street and will offer people a place to eat, drink and meet up.
There are now 11 Coppa Clubs around the UK, with most of them in London and the home counties.
Bristol’s was the first outside the South East and the brand has felt so at home here it launched a second location, this time in Bath, on
August 16. The club will be open every day from 9am to 11pm, with a cafe downstairs and a cocktail bar upstairs.
Aptly named The Bath Townhouse, this beautiful building boasts an art deco staircase and plush furnishings. Folk will be able to pop in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and business meetings.
They offer a range of meals from omelettes and pasta to steak, and popular cocktails to match. Images of the new Townhouse club at 18-19 Old Bond Street were released on its opening day and it looks very swanky indeed.
Coppa Club opened its first location in the 2010s, as a variation on private members’ clubs that were open all day. The brand would offer food and drink from dawn until dusk, but without the fees of a traditional club.
