PLANT OF THE WEEK

-

Lysimachia clethroides

Gooseneck loosestrife is a striking perennial that is in flower at the moment.

It’s tall and the white spikes of flowers curl over and resemble the neck of a goose.

Plant in fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade.

It can be a bit invasive so make sure it has adequate space and dig up portions if it attempts to dominate the herbaceous border.
