Thank you to our wonderful military

To all branches of the Armed Forces who took part in the state funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II, in whatever role – thank you!

It is a real test to stand at attention for a six-hour shift – surely that could be reduced to a lower period?

The dignity shown by the public, the Royal Navy in its historic towing of the gun carriage, the respect shown by numerous foreign dignitaries and heads of state, bears witness as to our late Queen’s standing throughout the World. RIP Ma’am.

His Majesty King Charles III now carries that forward. God Save the King!
