New 24/7 gym opens in Centre

A brand new gym has opened in the Southgate Shopping Centre in Bath. The 12,300-square-foot site run by The Gym Group offers a selection of high-spec weights and cardio machines, and there are six fitness professionals on hand to help members reach their goals.

Members will have 24/7 access to the gym and can benefit from free group classes. The company’s gyms are no contract, and prices in Bath will start at £17.99 for the first three months, after which the regular price is £24.99.

The Gym Group operates 222 gyms across the country, including three in Bristol. It has also recently opened sites in Chester and Middlesbrough and aims to have over 300 branches in the UK by 2025.

The new gym will be located on the first floor of Southgate Shopping Centre, just around the corner from the nearest bus stop and a seven-minute walk from Bath Spa train station.
