Award the icing on cake for shop

-

A shop selling sweet treats in Bath has won a Taste of the West Gold Award, just three months after it opened.

Flapjackery launched on New Bond Place in July, offering glutenfree flapjacks in an array of flavours, including salted caramel and the award-winning clotted cream. It also sells fudge and chocolate.

This latest accolade is Flapjackery’s sixth gold award in 2022, with its shops in Wells, Minehead, Plymouth, St Ives and Tavistock also being awarded the badge.

Devon woman Carol Myott founded Flapjackery with her business partner Sally Jenkin in 2015.

She said: “It’s the cherry on the cake for an incredible year.

“To win gold with all six shops is a brilliant achievement and it’s hats off to all our wonderful staff who run our shops and take great pride in providing the best customer service they can.

“It was very exciting to launch our new shop in Bath, and it’s been wonderful to have so many people coming in to say hello, and buy flapjacks of course!”
