Enjoy two great nights of rock

-

Do you like 60s and 70s rock music? Did you frequent the Bath Pavilion

on Monday nights during those decades?

Do you gravitate back to those classic bands and do you still play those fantastic vinyl albums?

If so, and further to my previous correspondence, can I remind you of 2 gigs in Bath during November that will leave you with those great songs playing in your head?

On Sunday evening the 13th November Voodoo Room - a night of Hendrix, Cream and Clapton play at the Komedia.

Have a look at their website for a video montage of this superb 3 piece outfit… note for note, word for word they interpret those artists’ songs so well. Many of which would have been heard down at the Pav back in the day.

Another gig not to miss at the Komedia on Thursday evening the 17th November is Whole Lotta Led - billed as a World Class tribute to Led Zeppelin. Whole Lotta Led have played in Bath many times over the years both at the Komedia and the Pavilion.

They have been purveying their catalogue of Led Zep songs for 26 years, and this current year marks their Farewell Tour, with their last ever gig in Gloucester just prior to Christmas. Have a look at the video footage on the Komedia website.

I am not promoting either the bands or the venue, but just good interpretation of great music….

So brighten up your November evenings by booking to see both of these ‘professional’ tribute bands, I assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

If not, please share your memories of Monday Nights at the Pav via the Bath Chronicle Opinions page.
