RUH staff caring for my wife excellent

-

Hospitals across the country are under severe pressure right now. So, two weekends ago, when my 92 year old wife Joan fell downstairs it seemed likely that there’d be a long wait for the ambulance.

A mere 17 minutes after my 999 call 3 paramedics arrived and with remarkable efficiency and care whisked her to A&E.

Thereafter, she got excellent highly professional care by all the staff - doctors, nurses, paramedics, care assistants and porters. All carried out their work with calmness, gentleness and consideration.

I cannot speak too highly of the staff at our Royal United Hospital

and we should all be proud of this wonderful institution we have - the NHS.

So raise three cheers for our NHS and and strive to protect it from corrosive influence.
