Dog rescued from blaze

-

Firefighters rescued a dog after being called to a fire which broke out at a five-storey property in Bath.

Witnesses reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the building on Great Pulteney Street, in Bathwick (pictured), as well as multiple fire engines at the scene on Friday afternoon (November 4).

Crews from Bath and Kingswood were called to the property just after 1pm and a team of six firefighters managed to extinguish the flames using a variety of equipment.

No injuries were reported, but a dog was rescued. The fire was thought to have started accidentally.
