Homes hit by power cut
Hundreds of homes in Bath suffered a series of power cuts last Thursday evening (November 3).
Around 800 properties in the BA1 and BA2 areas suffered after a ‘high voltage incident,’ according to the National Grid.
The electricity company was made aware of the incident at around 8.15pm and power was restored around 10pm.
A National Grid statement said: “We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 8.16pm this evening and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.”
