A taste of honey

In a lovely personal note guests will be invited after the service to enjoy some Somerset refreshments of apple juice and honey cake made with honey from bees kept by Bishop Michael’s father-in-law, Ken Jeanes, who is the vice-chair of the Somerset Beekeepers’ Association.

Bishop Michael, is also a beekeeper and co-owner of a small wood. He has a keen interest in the environment and that will be reflected throughout the service.
