On the restaurant’s website, it promises a changing menu based on seasonal ingredients, with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. “The authentic, exotic, and complex flavours of Indian cuisine when used in a progressive way can produce an exceptional culinary experience,” it says.

Some of Mantra’s specialities include slow cooked shank of lamb in Hyderabadi spices (£15.95), Masala dosa with potato filling, coconut chutney and sambar (£6.95).
