1. The 1620s House and Garden

A beautiful medieval house, with a family friendly, fully-furnished 17th century interior and well stocked gardens. 4. Rye Heritage Centre

Rye Heritage Centre houses the Rye Town Model ‘Story of Rye’ Show, a vintage 1:100 scale model of Victorian Rye that uses dramatic sound and light effects to bring to life 700 years of Rye’s rich history. 2. Bentley Priory Museum

Bentley Priory Museum tells the fascinatin­g story of the beautiful Grade II* listed Georgian house, focusing on its role as Fighter Command Headquarte­rs during the Battle of Britain. 5. Gilbert White’s House

Celebrate the legacy of 18th Century naturalist and ecologist Gilbert White. Learn more about the man who redefined how we look at the natural world and inspired Darwin. 3. Coldharbou­r Mill

Coldharbou­r Mill is a Victorian textile mill of national importance having been in continuous production since 1797. Largely untouched since Victorian times, it is recognised as one of the best preserved textile mills in the country. 6. Eden Camp North Yorkshire

Within the grounds of an original PoW camp, a visit to Eden Camp brings history to life and takes visitors back in time to experience the sights, sounds and smells of life on both the Home Front and Front Line during World War Two.
