Jad Adams

is a fel­low of the School of Ad­vanced Study, Univer­sity of Lon­don and a Fel­low of the Royal His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety. His most re­cent book is Women and the Vote: A World His­tory (OUP, 2014)

Julia Bush

is a former se­nior lec­turer in his­tory at the Univer­sity of Northamp­ton. Her books in­clude Women Against the Vote: Fe­male Anti-Suf­frag­ism in Bri­tain (OUP, 2007)

Fern Rid­dell

is a his­to­rian spe­cial­is­ing in sex and suf­frage. She is a con­sul­tant on the forth­com­ing BBC One doc­u­men­tary How Women Won the Vote
