Tun­nel may pose risk to Ice Age site

Ar­chae­ol­o­gist David Jac­ques, of the Uni­ver­sity of Buck­ing­ham, has warned that build­ing a tun­nel past Stone­henge could dam­age nearby Mesolithic set­tle­ment Blick Mead. High­ways Eng­land stated that the plans were “never in­tended as a geo­graph­i­cal map”.
