Price­less items from the Swedish crown jew­els have been stolen from the 13th-cen­tury Strängnäs Cathe­dral (above), 50 miles from Stock­holm. The thieves stole two gold burial crowns and an orb, all used for royal funer­als in the 17th cen­tury, and made off with the loot in a speed­boat.
