The Bavarian town of Selb might not have the name-recognition of, say, Dresden, but as the home of the Rosenthal porcelain factory, founded in 1879, it’s an internationally important ceramics centre. The Porzellanikon porcelain museum presents a history of the craft from the 18th century.
