● In Books (July) we inadvertently omitted a digit in the title of David Potter’s new book. It should have read 264 BC–138 AD, rather than 38 AD. Thanks to reader David Cox for alerting us to this error.

● As several readers have pointed out, in a caption on page 13 of the D-Day supplement, the aircraft described as an “Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle” was in fact a Halifax.
