WATERY WONDERS

-

Blue Planet II TV BBC One Due to start late October/early November.

Autumn’s natural history biggie is just around the corner.

Blue Planet II, the follow up to the 2001 series, has a wealth of wonderful watery treats on offer, bringing the world’s most spectacular marine creatures to your screens. This time, the filming claims to be more ambitious and the cast more extraordinary, immersing the audience in some of the least known parts of our planet while tackling prominent issues. “The oceans are the most exciting place to be right now, because new discoveries have given us a new perspective of life beneath the waves,” says executive producer James Honeyborne. “Blue

Planet II will provide a timely reminder that this is a critical moment for the health of the world’s oceans.” Don’t miss our episode-by-episode guide in next month’s issue.
