BBC Wildlife Magazine - - Wild May -

The coast is an intriguing and inspiring place for artists. At the Edge of the Sea is a group exhibition at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Wales, that will celebrate the marine environment. Expect flying gulls, abstract images and fleeting glimpses of children on windswept beaches. The event will feature a range of media. Highlights include Helen Pugh’s textiles, which are masterfully crafted from objects found on her visits to the shore, Malcolm Ryan’s paintings of swooping seabirds and lino prints of boats by Stuart Evans. 15 May to 8 July, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Wales, free entry, https://bit.ly/2GT9LuU
