Volunteer for her local nature-recording project, The Nature of our Village I run weekly shark and skate eggcase hunts in winter, and find it fascinating to make the link between such odd, plasticlooking objects and the number of these fish using Cardigan Bay as adults. As a community, we want to be the ones to ‘do science’ in our area, and not just have it done by remote professionals who may not always remember to share the results of their research on our patch.
