OUT OF THE DARK

In March I visited Zimanga Game Reserve in South Africa and enjoyed some amazing wildlife encounters. I was lucky enough to spend two nights in a hide, which gave me exciting photography opportunities. Because I wasn’t allowed to use a flash, I adjusted my camera settings accordingly and captured this nighttime shot of enormous Cape buffalo having a drink. Jim France, Sedgefield, UK
