Qinling golden snub-nosed monkeys rest in the temperate forest of China’s Qinling Mountains. This endangered subspecies is constantly on the move, and the steep terrain proved challenging for Marsel. It took many days to understand the monkeys’ group dynamics, but his perseverance paid off with this shot, soft light filtering through the canopy.
