Tigers

‘In life’s myriad journey, the fulfilment of all the senses is the true culmination of one’s highest experience.’

- Limban@Tadoba

THIS VERY PURSUIT led Pune based architects Amala Sheth and her partner Anand Bhagat to follow their passion for the wild and the urge to give ‘Back to Earth’, and create Limban. This safari lodge in the heart of Tiger habitat at the Tadoba Andhari Reserve in Maharashtra, Central India, is home to a large number of Tigers and is an integral part of the Tiger Corridor.

Limban, a high end, luxury, totally sustainable eco-resort, delivers the thrill of bush life with the rawness of a rural environment. It merges seamlessly with the local, physical and social landscape of the area to create the ultimate safari experience.

Nestled in the buffer zone between the forest and the cultivated areas, amidst thickets of Bamboo, Neem, Flame of the Forest and other native trees, guests at Limban are assured of an unforgettable experience of Indian jungles.

The spacious cabins, tents and cottages, fourteen in all, define every aspect of luxury. The minute details are what set us apart, as well as the professionalism, warm hospitality and personal touch guests receive from our Manager, Ronak, who sits at the core of Limban and takes it to a different level!

Guests can look forward to an array of birds, Chital, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Monkeys, Sloth Bears, Indian Gaur and even elusive Leopards... and all these experiences finally lead to the trail of the majestic Tiger, right in the environs of Limban!

We believe in nurturing our environment and the vast canvas of its rich biodiversity. This special place is shared between man and animal, and we endeavour to foster conservation by supporting locals and by presenting ourselves as a model of sustainability.

So come visit us... Explore, connect and conserve.
