What to see

-

DUSKY LEAF MONKEY

With white patches around the eyes and lips, this leaf-eating arboreal monkey – also known as the spectacled langur – is unmistakable. A particular hotspot for encounters is Ko Wua Ta Lap, one of the larger islands and the site of the park headquarters.

COMMON HILL MYNA

Considered one of the world’s finest mimics, this striking bird, belonging to the starling family, can be spotted (and heard) high in the treetops. Watch out for its bright-orange bill and yellow cheeks, which stand out from its glossy black plumage.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

Don a snorkel to float above beautiful coral gardens with care, watching for shimmering trevally, blacktip reef shark, green turtle and threadfin butterfly fish. If you’re fortunate you might see a smoothcoated otter near the water’s edge.
