Walking for wildlife

BBC Wildlife Magazine - - Our Wild World -

I enjoyed reading James Fair’s article about Chris Packham’s ‘People’s Walk for Wildlife’ (Answering the call of the wild, December 2018), and would like to offer my feelings on being one of the sodden 10,000 and what the walk’s legacy might be.

The ‘People’s Walk’ made us focus on the damage humans have done, and the ‘People’s Manifesto for Wildlife’ showed us that measures can be brought into effect to start reversing this damage, and that we had the responsibility to fight for that. Janet Hoptroff, via email
