DIDDY DECAPOD

Sexy shrimps – yes, that really is their common name – are olive brown with glossy white patches fringed in blue. They are just 13mm long and live in a symbiotic relationship with sea anemones, residing in and feeding on their mucus-covered tentacles.

TITANIC TURTLE

Weighing just shy of a tonne, the leatherback is the world’s largest turtle. It’s found throughout tropical and sub-tropical seas (and some individuals venture to the British coast from time to time), but if you want to see one, try Costa Rica.

?? ?? Leatherbacks can travel 10,000km or more a year.
