Staying positive
What a pleasure it was to read the 50 reasons to be cheerful feature (January 2021). It is so good to know that all is not doom and gloom and some of the efforts of the hardworking folks who actually work to conserve our wildlife, rather than just talk about it, are paying off. It is also really special, in these times – when wildlife is giving us something else to think about, watch and treasure – to know that lockdowns keeping tourists away is not all bad news, as it is giving our wonderful planet a chance to recover.
Thank you to all those who work to conserve, rewild and protect the natural world.
