Doyou consider yourself something of a wildlife enthusiast? Or perhaps you have a keen interest in conservation and wildlife photography? If so, expedition cruise pioneers Heritage Expeditions explore some of the most breathtaking places on the planet with intrepid travellers. Founded in 1985 by Rodney and Shirley Russ, Heritage Expeditions has always been a family-owned business. Now run by their sons Aaron and Nathan, the Russ brothers proudly continue the family’s legacy of responsible expedition travel.

Travel aboard Heritage Expeditions’ purpose-built vessels. You can choose between the 140-guest flagship and ‘Grande Dame of Exploration Cruising’, the Heritage Adventurer or the 18-guest expedition yacht, the Heritage Explorer. With the highest passenger ship ice class rating, Heritage Adventurer was designed for exploring the wild and remote, from Antarctica to Japan’s subtropical islands, or discover coastal New Zealand on Heritage Explorer. Each expedition is meticulously planned to ensure all guests are able to maximise every opportunity to learn and experience as much as possible about the region they are visiting – all while minimising the environmental impact of their visit.

EXPLORE EFFORTLESSLY

You’ll be able to travel in style with fellow like-minded adventurers. On board, you’ll find that expedition days start early in order to allow you to have the best opportunity to observe surrounding wildlife and make the most of the morning light, excellent for photography. Exploring on the ship’s Zodiac, by foot or local transport takes you well off the beaten path. On your journey, you’ll also be joined by a world-renowned team of naturalists, botanists, geologists, historians and experts interpreting natural and human history as your voyage unfolds.

Heritage Expeditions’ oneof-a-kind itineraries have been created by an industry-leading expedition team specifically for those with an appreciation of the natural world, conservation, and history. Whether you choose to journey on the Heritage Adventurer or the Heritage Explorer, every expedition is led by an experienced leader and expert in the region. They will guide you throughout the voyage and share their knowledge, experiences and unique insights with you and your fellow travellers.
