BUSINESS leaders are set to learn lessons on how to sail through challenging conditions at the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland (IOD NI) annual dinner.
Martin Mccourt, best known for his 15 years as chief executive of Dyson, has been announced as main speaker for the event, sponsored by Bank of Ireland and law firm Arthur Cox.
Glasgow-born Mr Mccourt is now non-executive chairman at Glen Dimplex and has also held senior positions at globally recognised firms such as Mars, Duracell and Toshiba.
The dinner takes place on February 7 at Belfast’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Catriona Gibson, managing partner at Arthur Cox, added: “As one of Northern Ireland’s leading law firms, it is a privilege to partner with the IOD once again to support its annual dinner.
“Martin Mccourt’s keynote address will undoubtedly provide significant insight into the relationship between strong leadership and successful businesses.
The event is open to both members and non-members.
