£64k salary for senior PPS role
A SENIOR prosecutor role is available at the Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland (PPS).
The role, with a salary of up to £63,979, will see the candidate work across the PPS’ offices in Belfast, Derry, Newry and Omagh.
The PPS, which has a budget of £32m for the year 2018/19, is seeking a candidate who is a barrister or solicitor and who is entitled to practise either at the Bar of Northern Ireland or as a Solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland. The candidate must have at least three years post-qualification experience of criminal law, practice and procedure, gained within the last six years.
In other areas of the Civil Ser- vice, various departments are seeking candidates for roles including health and safety inspector at HSENI headquarters in Belfast, a scientific office at NIEA and a youth conference coordinator at the Youth Justice Agency.
In education, Ulster University has senior posts with starting salaries of up to £60,000.
These include a head of global online education development and senior project manager of travel and transport.
Elsewhere, the Integrated College in Dungannon is searching for a double award science teacher, a history teacher and a physical education teacher with general subjects.
Sullivan Upper is also seeking a vice principal.
