Property agents seek offers for units in Co Down and Co Armagh
TOWN centre offices and shops in locations including Bangor, Armagh and Newry have gone on the market.
In Bangor, a retail building with a vacant ground floor but tenants on the upper floor is for sale.
The building on the corner of Main Street and King Street is be- ing sold by commercial property agency Lisney and has an income of around £30,400.
However, the income is anticipated to go up to £50,400.
In Armagh, Lisney said it’s seeking late offers for a three-storey office building at the corner of Gosford Place and Russell Street.
It said the 22,000 sq ft building, which overlooks the city’s historic Mall, is already under offer.
Burns & Co Commercial said it’s also seeking final offers for a “prime town centre” site in Magherafelt. The agency said the buildings at 17 to 19 Rainey Street were suitable for redevelopment for a variety of uses.
And agents GVA NI is seeking buyers for two units in Newry and Lisburn. Both units are occupied by businesses which are not affected by the sale plans. In Newry, 34 Upper Mill Street is on the market. It’s occupied by Smart Dental Care , which has signed up to occupy the location until 2026.
GVA NI said the site was “an excellent health care investment” and was “internally finished to a high standard in keeping with a modern fully-functioning and operating dental surgery”.
It also said that an off-licence site with car parking in Lisburn was a “superb city centre investment opportunity”.
The site at 39 Railway Street is occupied by Wineflair, which GVA NI said was a strong tenant, with secure income until May 2020.
It was described as a “prominent retail unit with the benefit of on-site car parking” which also had “obvious long-term development potential subject to planning”.
