A GROUND rent investment in a Co Down quarry has gone on the market for £3.9m.

Commercial property agency CBRE has been instructed to sell the 50% interest in the ground rent of Cashel Quarry.

The quarry at Lisdoonan on Belfast Road in Saintfield is let to tenants Ready Use Concrete, Acheson & Glover, Conexpo and Dawson WAM.

CBRE said the site was made up of “a working quarry with ancillary accommodation, situated on a site of circa 67 acres”.

“We are instructed to seek offers in excess of £3.9m exclusive,” CBRE said.

Meanwhile, O’connor Kennedy Turtle is selling a residential development site in Ballykelly. The site faces the A2, which leads to the north coast.

It has planning permission for 21 homes, with five of the homes detached and 16 semi-detached.

OKT said: “The site extends to circa two acres, is rectangular in shape with a topography that provides for ease of development and is ready for immediate development.”
