The famous faces on the property ladder
A COUPLE who scooped the Euromillions jackpot has swapped their £ 70 a week rented flat for a luxury mansion once owned by Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck.
Euromillions jackpot winners Dave and Angela Dawes splashed out £ 4million in the listed six bedroom Socknersh Manor in Sussex.
The house was used by the music legends as a party pad in the sixties and sold after they fell out.
Guests included singer Janis Joplin, actress Barbara Eden and model Jean Shrimpton.
It comes with landscaped grounds, a pool and a sunken spa, a cinema, party room, tennis courts, stables and a private underground petrol station.
The Dawes were renting a £ 70-a- week flat when they won £ 101 million in 2011 from only their third Euromillions ticket.
They made all their closest pals millionaires and bought a posh apartment in Chelsea and a home in Portugal. PN Find your dream home at propertynews.com
