Gardrum Hold­ing’s main busi­ness is con­duct­ing off-site and on­site ma­chin­ery auc­tion sales and val­u­a­tions through­out Europe, trad­ing as Euro Auc­tions.

It’s the big­gest auc­tion­eer of con­struc­tion ma­chin­ery in the UK. Some group com­pa­nies hold prop­er­ties for use within the group or for de­vel­op­ment and re­sale.

Its first auc­tion took place in Dro­more, Co Ty­rone in 1998, be­fore hold­ing its first auc­tion out­side the prov­ince in Wetherby, York­shire in 2000.

It branched out into hold­ing auc­tions out­side the British Isles in 2006 with an event in Dor­ma­gen, Ger­many. It now has 10 per­ma­nent sites around the world, in­clud­ing Bris­bane in Aus­tralia and Florida and Ohio in the US.
