New shareholder organisation set up for worldwide fans of Rangers

- BY ADAM McKENDRY

A NEW independent shareholder organisation, Follow Rangers Shareholders Ltd, has been set up in Scotland for fans of Rangers FC.

The committee have said that the aim of the organisation is to allow existing and new Rangers shareholders to participate in fan ownership and to help influence the direction of the club.

Follow Rangers was set up in an attempt to address the demand of Rangers fans worldwide, with the organisation already attracting members from several countries.

It will be wholly independent of Rangers FC and of any other fan groups, although the organisation insist that they will work with anybody who has the best interests of the club at heart.

A spokesperson for Follow Rangers commented: “We have worked long and hard to produce a fan group model that can continually grow while acting at all times in the best interests of Rangers and our shareholder members.

“We recognise and applaud the work of countless Rangers fans who have held the dream of fan ownership.

“However, it is our belief that a single fan group is not appropriate for Rangers.

“We have a massive worldwide support and we believe Follow Rangers can attract people who are either not engaged or disillusioned with the existing fan ownership models.”

Fans can apply to join the group by going to their official website at followrangers. com or get more information on the organisation by emailing info@followrangers.com.
