Munnis thrilled to kick off Armoy’s
club and racing fans alike.
President of the Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club, William Munnis, commented: “I was very proud to see so many people come together to get the celebrations under way.
“We have created a family in the biking community, both locally and nationally, throughout the years and the gala dinner was a great opportunity to get together and celebrate the world that is road racing.
“Speaking to those who attended the dinner, a fantastic night was enjoyed by all.”
Born from an initial idea by the locals in 2007, the Armoy Road Races has continued to grow from strength to strength, now positioning itself as one of the biggest national road races in Ireland, welcoming an increasing number of spectators from around the globe each year.
Munnis continued: “The fact that our Bayview Hotel Race of Legends is not only the youngest but the best national road race in Ireland demonstrates how far the club has come in just 10 years.
