ITV calls up Dowie and O’Neill to its World Cup panel
TWO former Northern Ireland players are among ITV’s pundits for this summer’s World Cup.
Martin O’Neill and Iain Dowie will be in Russia to cover the tournament which kicks off on June 14.
Both the BBC and ITV have named their line-ups over the last 48 hours.
ITV’s panel includes O’Neill, Gary Neville and regular pundits Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Lee Dixon.
Former striker Dowie will be a co-commentator.
The BBC line-up includes former England trio Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand, plus German World Cup winner Jurgen Klinsmann and ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
