FIRST CHILD ON WAY FOR STAR COUPLE
‘We couldn’t be happier’ ...first baby on the way for Frank and Christine NORTHERN Ireland television presenter Christine Lampard and her husband Frank are expecting their first child together.
The star and the former footballer shared their good news on their Instagram accounts.
Christine reposted an image shared by Frank and said: “The Lampard family are expanding.”
She added that she feels “so excited, nervous and grateful” and that “the list of emotions is endless”.
Frank also said on the social media site: “We have some exciting news we wanted to share with you. The Lampard family is growing.
“My gorgeous wife @chrisly tinelampard is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier.”
He shared a picture of himself with Christine (39) and his two daughters from his previous relationship with Spanish model Elen Rivas — 12-year-old Luna and Isla (10).
It will be the first child for the Newtownards-born star who married the sports star, also 39, in 2015.
She has previously spoken about her desire to have children and how she is constantly asked when she is going to have a baby following her marriage to the ex-footballer.
Christine, who is a presenter on daytime TV show Loose Women, was talking about whether mothers and women who don’t have children can tru- be friends. Christine said: “It’s one of those things that I understand.
“I’ve got lots of friends who still don’t have any children and lots of friends who do.
“My two best friends have children and we have a very honest relationship, so they will be the first to say, ‘Oh gosh it was really tough today, I’m knackered’, or this has happened or that has happened, and I’m always their light relief.
“So when we get together it’s like, ‘this is the naughty night now, the children are left at home’.
“We have this perfect balance between me not having children and them having children, so I don’t believe this is necessarily the case.”
