Ter­ror­ism charges for teens held in Nazi probe

TWO teenagers have been charged with ter­ror­ism of­fences fol­low­ing their ar­rests on Thurs­day by po­lice in­ves­ti­gat­ing a neo-Nazi group that posted an on­line threat against the Duke of Sus­sex.

An 18-year-old man from Portsmouth faces five charges of en­cour­ag­ing ter­ror­ism and three of dis­sem­i­nat­ing ter­ror­ist pub­li­ca­tions.

A 17-year-old boy from Lon­don also faces five charges of en­cour­ag­ing ter­ror­ism.

They have both been bailed to ap­pear at West­min­ster Mag­is­trates Court on Wed­nes­day.

Counter Ter­ror­ism Polic­ing North East said the pre-planned op­er­a­tion was part of an on­go­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tion into ex­treme rightwing ac­tiv­ity.

It is un­der­stood a neo-Nazi group named the Son­nenkrieg Divi­sion is in­cluded in the in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

One pro­pa­ganda im­age shows a pic­ture of Harry with a pis­tol pointed at his head and the words “see ya later race traitor”, ac­cord­ing to var­i­ous re­ports.

Other im­ages show praise for mass mur­derer An­ders Breivik.
