Terrorism charges for teens held in Nazi probe
TWO teenagers have been charged with terrorism offences following their arrests on Thursday by police investigating a neo-Nazi group that posted an online threat against the Duke of Sussex.
An 18-year-old man from Portsmouth faces five charges of encouraging terrorism and three of disseminating terrorist publications.
A 17-year-old boy from London also faces five charges of encouraging terrorism.
They have both been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Counter Terrorism Policing North East said the pre-planned operation was part of an ongoing investigation into extreme rightwing activity.
It is understood a neo-Nazi group named the Sonnenkrieg Division is included in the investigation.
