Kicking ex’s stuff to the kerb

She finalised her divorce from Ant McPartlin back in April, and now Lisa Armstrong is having a spring clean from her past. Lisa, 43, placed numerous boxes containing Ant’s possessions, with a sign labelled “Free… please help yourself” and a smiley face, outside their former marital home. Instead of throwing the belongings away, the make-up artist wanted them to go to a new home and welcomed her neighbours to take what they liked.

A source said, “Ant has already sifted through what he wanted to keep and had gophers collect them in recent weeks. What was left is being offered for free. His bathrobe has been taken. Footy memorabilia has also been given away.” Items included Ant’s Newcastle United shirts and a novelty foam finger from Saturday Night Takeaway that read “Team Ant”. “Some of it is

In the pile of things were board games and books, such as a Jamie Oliver cookbook, Piers Morgan’s The Insider, and Tales From The Dance Floor by Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly, on which Lisa is head make-up artist. There was also a 2016 Banksy calendar, as well as a food and water bowl used by their chocolate Labrador Hurley, who she and Ant, 44, share custody of.

The couple split in January 2018, following the TV presenter’s highly publicised addiction battle with painkillers and alcohol. Lisa received a rumoured £31m in the divorce settlement, and Ant has been with his former personal assistant and girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, 43, for two years. Lisa is now dating electrician James Green.
