The Great British House Makeover

Across Britain, over 600,000 buildings lie unused and unloved, and nearly a third are commercial. Due to a recent relaxation in planning laws, it has become easier to change the use of these local landmarks, to transform them into homes of the future and preserve our heritage. Taking on these historical gems certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted and George Clarke is meeting some of the people who are bravely up for the challenge.
