These celebs are catching the last rays of the season
The weather may have been on and off, as is typical of British summer, but that didn’t stop the stars from making the most of the final days of sunshine. Maths whiz and former Countdown legend Carol Vorderman, 60, enjoyed some sunbathing in Wales, where she visits regularly from her home in Bristol. She said, “I’m a happy scruff. Bikini top inside out, no make-up.” She apologised to Elizabeth Hurley, who she dubbed the “queen of bikinis” for the wardrobe malfunction.
Liz, 56, has her own swimwear brand, which she modelled beautifully while floating on an inflatable wings, saying that she was in her “happy place”, holidaying in the UK.
Another celeb braving the Great British weather was TV presenter Helen Skelton, 38, who was with her family in Yorkshire, where she chilled by the pool in a red swimsuit. She joked, “Weekend well spent. How much dunking your big brother is acceptable (asking for a friend)?” Dani Dyer, 25, was on a family holiday in Spain on her first trip away with
seven-month-old son Santiago, actor dad Danny and mum Jo. No doubt it was the perfect place to take her mind off things following her ex Sammy Kimmence’s recent prison sentence on fraud charges. Model Kelly Brook, 41, was also in Spain, as she was ready to dive into the clear waters of Mallorca. And Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 50, was a vision in blue in a bikini and matching cover-up that was as turquoise as the sea. Good job she was holding onto her hat as she posed on a boat!
New mum Kate Ferdinand, 30, opted for a more classic black bikini as she shared a sneak peek into her family vacation with husband Rio on a mystery beach holiday. Chloe Madeley, 34, made it no secret where she was jetting off to, though, as she headed to her regular favourite island of Ibiza, which she has visited an impressive 14 times. Sharing a selfie in a polka-dot bikini, she said, “Work hard. Be nice. Have fun. Go to Ibiza before you die.”
Meanwhile, Martine Mccutcheon, 45, mixed business with pleasure as she got to enjoy some downtime on a work trip abroad. While spending time on a sunny beach with her son Rafferty, five, she said, “Having time to rest and play and to simply enjoy our bubba boy now is amazing. Have we got good weather in the UK soon?” Erm, we’re making no promises!
