Vernon Kay was forced to pull out of hosting This Morning after testing positive for COVID. The 47-year-old presenter was due to make his debut on the show last week, but had to cancel at the last minute – and was replaced by Eamonn Holmes. He said, “I’m absolutely gutted that because of a positive COVID test, I’m no longer able to present on This Morning with Rochelle [Humes] nor do Radio 2 guest hosting and Steve Wright cover – two iconic shows, which I’ve been a fan of for decades.” Get well soon, Vern!
