The twinkly-eyed judge’s personal life came under the spotlight after rumours of an affair with his American Baking Competition co-judge Marcela Valladolid. The alleged infidelity cost his marriage to Alexandra, from whom he split in 2017. Paul, 57, then had a romance with barmaid Summer Monteys-fullam, 29 years his junior. Since their split in 2019, he’s been dating pub landlady Melissa Spalding, 38.

Matt, 49, was married to TV producer Kevin Mcgee for 18 months from December 2006. Kevin tragically died by suicide in 2009. “I loved him more than anyone I’ve ever met, and still do,” the comic said. “He made me the happiest man on the planet. In the end, he lost his battle with addiction and depression. I think of him probably a hundred times a day, every day.” Matt is currently thought to be single.

Prue’s first husband Rayne Kruger was the result of a 13-year affair. “I can’t pretend it was right. I never regretted it as I loved him and he loved me,” she said. “It all ended well, but it was very painful for a while.” After his death in 2002, Prue, 83, found love with clothes designer John Playfair. They moved in together in 2020, after living in separate homes for nine years.

Former Bake Off host Sue, 53, split from Naked Attraction presenter Anna Richardson in June 2021 after eight years together. The exes, who knew each other for years, hit it off after a Halloween party in 2013. “It’s really sad. Both Anna and Sue are devastated,” a source said, adding it was amicable. While Anna is dating a divorced charity worker, Sue is thought to be single.
